Rockie Stone is an australian circus performer with a drive to create art with her body. In her work she investigates the body’s relationship to space and time; objects and risk. Her work has involved stark symbolism and abstract imagery and has an interest in metatheatre, the dissection of form and improvisational technologies.

Her artistic influences include the work and practices of Pina Bausch, Marina Abramovic, the Forsythe Company, Le 7 doigts de la main, Cirque Ici, Rosalind Crisp, Deborah Hay, John Cage, Matthew Barney, Charles Mingus and Bjork.
